The Beach Camp™ is a Backpackers / Hostel along the West Coast of Paternoster, situated in Cape Columbine Nature Reserve, South Africa. It is all about nature while camping comfortably in nature. Accommodation is alternative in pre-pitched cozy A-Frame huts or Tents with comfortable beds / bed-frames. We do have a designated section to pitch your own tent and still enjoy all the benefits of being residents of The Beach Camp™. We are Eco-friendly and have no electricity.
We honour The Sabbath, therefore from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset we observe His rest; no crew work over the Sabbath, therefore should you wish to be here over the weekend, check in is essential 1 hour prior to sunset on Friday’s and check out is only possible on Sunday from 11h00. Our facilities and premises caters for overnight guests ONLY, therefore only those that are pre-booked are allowed access to The Beach Camp™.
PhotosOptional activities in the area include horse riding for beginners to experienced riders as well as guided sea-kayak trips (sea and weather conditions dependent), SUPing from Langebaan Lagoon, to name but a few. The star-gazing is amazing and Birders will be delighted!
In the wintertime we get approximately 128mm of rain, so soak up some sun while it is raining in Cape Town. We have an old Defy Dover for the stormy days should you wish to make a fire and have roll-downs, which protect us while you can sip on your favourite drink and stare out at the beautiful scenery.
